Dec 14, 2016 A seminor on Travel Service Manager in Hamamatsu
平成28年度　静岡県旅行業者従業員講習会　がありました。午前中は浜松オートレース場内の視察をしました。B級グルメ浜松餃子を昼食にいただきました。午後の研修は、初めに「みおつくし文化センター」に行き「添乗員による旅の安全と緊急時の対応」について講義を受け、軽井沢のバス事故を念頭に、乗車バスからの避難訓練を実施しました。2番目には、「平成29年度　大河ドラマ　”おんな城主　直虎”」関連説明を受け、その後、隣にある新井の関所にゆきました。最後には、来年放映予定の大河ドラマの地、直虎と井伊家ゆかりの龍潭寺を訪ねました。庭園が紅葉真っ盛りでとてもきれいでした。直虎という人物には女性説、男性説両方あるようです。
Sept 10, 201６ Mt.Fuji 201６ Season 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　2016 シーズンの富士山は9月10日で閉山します。今年は天候に恵まれた年でした。7月初めは登頂を心待ちにした人で溢れました。中旬は学校が夏休みになり、親子で登山する人がたくさんいました。8月になると、アジア各国より若い人がたくさん来てくれました。2か月でおよそ900人の人と話しました。下旬には台風が3回来ました。富士山は大荒れとなりました。五合目で風速１５Mの風が吹き、山頂では22M以上の風でした。今年は救助件数は44件で、去年に比べ急増しました。高山病、心肺停止、骨折、転倒、疲労困憊などが主な原因でした。開山中は、高山植物、希少動物、鹿の親子を見ることができて、心和むものがありました。来年も富士山は皆様をお待ちしています。　　
On Sept 10, 2016 Mt.Fuji will be closed. This year Mt.Fuji is blessed with good weather from the beginning to the end of the season. When the opening day came, Mt.Fuji was flooded with people who couldn't wait to climb. In the middle of the month when schools have summer vacation, many families with children came. In August, there were many Asian people trying to climb the mountain. During two months I have talked about 900 people. At the end of August three typhoons hit Japan and the mountain was very rough. It blew at the speed of 15m/sec at 5th station and on the top 22m/sec. The number of rescue rose up 44 cases. The main causes of rescues are altitude sickness, cardiopulmonary arrest, breaks, falls, fatigue. While opened to the publick, alpine plants, rare animals,deer familly were seen regularly. Mt.Fuji expects to see you next season.See you again!
March & April Cruise Liners at the Shimizu Port ・With the Advent of tour season & spring,cruise liners come to Shimizu Port from abroad with about 2000 passengers on board.People begin voyage from Asian countries to Japan.Their destinations in Shizuoka area are Pine grove in Miho peninsula, Nihonn-daira plain, Woodbock-print museum in Yui(Utagawa hiroshige), Senngenn Shirine in Fujinomiya. In 4 or 6 hours trips are arranged for them.They enjoy the nice view of Mt. Fuji over the Suruga bay at Miho peninsula or Nihonn-daira. Wodblock-prints are their new experience.
February 27, 2016 Tour Guide Seminor at Hamamatsu ・The second seminar sponsored by Shizuoka prefecture was held in Hamamatsu. The destinations were Meijiya Soy Sauce Co, Ryotanji Temple and Shizuoka Rofu Co. First, at Meijiya Co, we could expereience squeezing process of soy sauce, a bottle of soy sauce squeezed was given after that, enjoyed whole process of soy sauce production through the DVD, made a study tour of the factory. Secondly, at Ryotanji Temple-family temple of the Ii: a feudal lord. We were guided by a monk through the Zen-temple, which was founded 1,300 years ago by a enlightened deity Gyoki. The temple has a very nice garden designed by Enshu Kobori:a famous artist of the early Edo era. Finally we visited Shizuoka Rofu Co, which produces paper towels. They say the towel is very gentle to skin, paper towels get dry very quickly and germs are difficult to propagate. So, it's very clean and hygienic. We could experience dyeing it.

January 30, 2016 Tour Guide Seminor at Kanaya

・The above seminar was sponsored by Shizuoka prefecture and carried out mainly at Kanaya area this year. The destinations were "Ochanosato(Tea Museum)", stone pavement in Kanaya, demo ride on SL(Steam Locomotive) and soy sauce factory. In Tea Museum, we could taste variety of teas. Smells and tastes differed from tea leaves. And the exhibitions of variety of teas enjoyed in many countries surprised us. There was a light rain that morning. Stone pavement was very slippery. We had to walk with care for half an hour. SL ride most popular for children was fantastic. The sound and smoke were nostalgic. A conductor played the harmonica and sang. Finally we enjoyed producing process of soy sauce. It resembles wine making.
