On May 26th. Sunday. the JFVC Lecture Event, "Getting To Know More About Florida"
was held at Shogai Gakushu Center with 39 attendees. (15 JFVC members,and 24 Non JFVC members). The Speaker, Mr. Kenneth Groger gave an interesting speech about his home state, Florida. We enjoyed learning about the climate, location, food, tourist spots, history, indigenous people, nature, etc. His jolly personality shone throughout the lecture, and we all enjoyed listening to him. He was also happy to give answers to all questions that were asked. It was the first time for JFVC to hold a lecture in English without interpreters, and it was successful. Our heartfelt thanks to all who helped us make this event a great success.  
JFVC講演会「フロリダをもっと知ろう」は、5月26日（日）に生涯学習センターで39名が参加して行われました。 講師のケネス・グローガーさんがフロリダについて英語だけで講演してくれました。 彼はフロリダの様々な事柄、例えば、気候・位置・歴史・先住民・自然・食べ物・観光地などについて話してくれました。 彼の話し振りから明るい性格が伝わり、聞いてる人は講演を楽しみました。 JFVCにとって英語だけでの講演会は初めての試みでしたが成功でした。 |
